Welcome to March. Notice the lack of an exclamation point in the first sentence? That's because March is my least favorite month. It's always gross in the Midwest during March. The snow is that ugly dirty color and the giant piles of snow from November, December, January, and February are still waiting for the warmer temperatures to melt. About the only good thing in March is St. Patrick's Day.

I could use an adventure like that in the month of March...what about you guys?

I am so ready for spring! I have definitely hit the winter wall and am done with the cold and snow and ick. Let's hope that March goes fast and April brings spring weather! (...I guess March does bring Shamrock shakes too... :) )
ReplyDeleteI love March because I feel like we're finally close to real live Spring weather! It is awfully gross outside though, at least on the ground - we have to wipe the dogs' feet every time they come in from the yard! But I think we probably get less snow than you do up your way, and ours is almost all melted (special thanks to the ugly rainstorm we got yesterday - yuk!).
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness...I don't think I could go in the creek in my wedding dress!
ReplyDeleteMarch is like the light at the end of the tunnel for me! I can start opening the windows more and I see buds on trees - April and May are my favorite months so March just lets me know they are close!
ReplyDeleteThat's SUCH a gorgeous photo! One of my cousins got in the ocean in her wedding dress--granted it was a destination wedding and she bought her dress at a department store, but STILL! :)
ReplyDeleteMarch always seems like the longest month to me too. I am tired of winter and everything that goes with it!!
ReplyDeleteThe sunshine today is a preview of what Spring will be - let's hope it isn't too far off!!
I'd like to think I'd be up for that. But in reality, unless this picture was taken post-wedding, I confess my first thought would be that I was ruining my beautiful dress.
ReplyDeleteAnd I know. March is a dud month for me too. Although, now, as it appears I'll be having my 3rd kiddo in this month, it may rank slightly higher than previous years.
LOVE that picture!
