Off the self

Back in December, my employer was selling some office furniture
and shelving units from our manufacturing plant.  I bid $15 on this shelf and won!

Not so pretty, huh?

Over the holidays, I put some elbow grease into her and here's how she turned out!

I picked white and gold to match some of the accents we currently have in our bedroom.
I'm using it as a nightstand on my side of the bed (it has a lamp and some books on it now).

I can't remember exactly when I saw this (sometime in late December),
but One King's Lane had a similar shelf for sale...for $269!!!

The $15 cost of my shelf, spray paint, and elbow grease were quite a bit cheaper!

Please excuse the poor lighting
(I took these pictures at night), but here is the full shelf.
